Content You Create
Course outlines, scripts, brand assets, and other materials generated or uploaded on the platform are stored to provide you the service. This content remains yours — see Section 5 for details.
Payment Information
Payment transactions are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers. We retain transaction records (amount, date, plan) for billing and support purposes.
Device & Technical Data

To Provide the Service
We use your data to operate your account, deliver AI-generated content, track your milestone progress, and process payments.
To Improve Budsy AI
Anonymized and aggregated usage data helps us train and refine Budsy's recommendations so every user gets better guidance over time. We do not use your personal content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
To Communicate With You
We send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, receipts) and, if you opt in, product updates and tips. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
To Ensure Security
We analyze activity patterns to detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, and to protect both our platform and your account.
5. Your Content & Intellectual Property
You Own What You Create
All course materials, outlines, scripts, brand assets, and other content you produce on the platform are your intellectual property. We claim no ownership over your creations.
License to Operate
You grant BuildADreamCourse a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Data Portability
You can export your content at any time from your account settings. Exported files are provided in common formats (PDF, DOCX, or plain text).
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Active Accounts
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your personal data and content are removed from our active systems within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data and legally required transaction records may be retained longer.
Backups
Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.
7. Security
How We Protect Your Data
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), access controls, and regular security audits. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
Your Responsibility

Age Requirement
BuildADreamCourse is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
